The most extreme course of action a gambler can take when they have admitted to themselves that their gambling activities are getting out of hand, will be for them to self exclude themselves from each casino they play at.
It is now possible and a very simple and hassle free procedure for any player to do so, for they must first fill in a self-exclusion form that is issued by the casino or casinos that they are playing at, in most cases they are also required to supply a recent photograph of themselves, or one could be taken in the casino, and then they will be banned from that venue for life.
However, some people that do have a gambling problem and may have self excluded themselves from a casino may at some point in time then try to sneak into that venue and continue their gambling activities.
The laws are straight forward in such situations, and they state that at no time should a gambler be able to profit from their gambling activities in a venue or at a gambling related site they have chosen to self exclude themselves from.
As such if a player does manage to enter for example a land based casino and gamble, any winnings they do achieve when doing so can be confiscated by the operator of those venues!
